HOW TO GRILL THE PERFECT CLASSIC BURGER ON THE STOV BBQ

Best Burger cooked to perfection on the STOV Portable Gas BBQ barbecue

The classic burger, who doesn’t love it? With the right ingredients, there are very few things that taste better than the classic burger fresh off the barbecue while reflecting on a day full of adventures.

So here are some tricks on how to cook the perfect classic burger:

  1. Make sure to get the best beef patties from your local butcher and get some fresh tomato (don’t let a watery tasteless tomato ruin your burger!)
  2. When assembling put the salad leaves on the bottom, so that the juices don’t soak your bun.
  3. Talking about the bun for your burger, you can either home make it or get a brioche bun. We highly recommend not to use the white bread buns if you want to take your burger to the next level.

Burgers with melting cheese on the STOV BBQ

Directions how to BBQ your perfect burger

  1. Find your BBQing spot with a view, assembly your STOV BBQ and light it.
  2. Lightly marinade the burgers with some virgin olive oil, salt and pepper while the STOV BBQ is heating up
  3. Once heated up, put the burgers and jalapeño on the STOV BBQ. Then you slice the onions finely, add them to the grill. Slice tomatoes and cheese and get some lettuce ready.
  4. Once the burgers are cooked on one side (~3-5 mins depending how you like them), flip them over and add the cheese on top so it can melt (Again cook for about 3-5 mins). To help with the melting, you can use a little stainless steel bowl and put it on top of the burgers.
  5. Add the brioche buns to the barbecue and lightly toast them.
  6. Take everything off the STOV BBQ, add majo and/or your BBQ sauce on the buns and assemble - Crack your beer and enjoy!
